On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, charities, families, businesses, communities and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving. On this day, we celebrate #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday has become a global movement of giving to kick off the holiday season. We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar and you can help. Every act of generosity counts, and each means even more when we give together.
HopeBUILDERS is proud to be a part of this year’s #GivingTuesday celebration. Our goal is to raise $1000 by Nov. 28, 2017. The money raised will go toward accessibility modifications and home repair projects for people in the Kansas City Metro. Our clients are often elderly or those with disabilities and our goal is that through these projects, homeowners will be able to stay in their homes longer. Every dollar raised will support our mission of helping others live in Safety, Comfort and Dignity.
