There's No Place Like Home Let's Keep it That Way
Impact
Across our community, thousands of older adults and individuals with disabilities live in homes that were never designed for accessibility or aging. Many of these homes are decades old, with failing roofs, outdated electrical systems, and barriers that make everyday life difficult—or even dangerous.
Without critical repairs, these homes become unsafe, energy bills skyrocket, and residents are at risk of displacement or injury. At HopeBUILDERS Home Repair, we believe that a home should support your health, not harm it. That’s why we provide accessibility modifications and critical home repairs, helping low-income older adults and people with disabilities to live safely and independently in their homes and communities.
The ache for home lives in all of us.

Meet
Ms. Freddie
Freddie has neck and nerve damage, making it difficult to easily accomplish everyday tasks like stepping in and out of a bathtub, walking up stairs with an unstable railing and making minor home repairs that come with being a homeowner. Thanks to community donations, the HopeBUILDERS team was able to install a more accessible shower unit, sturdy handrails from her basement garage to the main floor, and took care of some needed insulation updates in the garage.

Miss Freddie says"Having an accessible shower and hand rails where I need them seem simple, but really are life changing. I can stay in the home and community I love and do it safely. Thanks HopeBUILDERS"
